Meet the Helmeringhausen Family

When the opportunity arose we left Lüderitz and bought Farm Helmeringhausen as well as the Hotel in June 2010. As a family, we took over Helmeringhausen with a great deal of love and excitement. Over the years it became more than just a hospitality project, it became our home. We want our guests to enjoy the Namibian farm lifestyle just as much as we do, in a way that is relaxed, tranquil and restorative.

Helmeringhausen Hotel is a family run establishment, personally managed by us, The Basler Family. We provide our guests with farm style accommodation, Namibian hospitality and a touch of German excellence, ensuring a memorable stay on Farm Helmeringhausen.

With a variety of rooms available, we assure finding the right living space for our guests. See our gallery for a visual impression of what we have to offer, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

We are a family and together we run the business that was started by Björn and Katja in 2010. Now 14 years later, the Hotel has grown from strength to strength and Nikolai and Tazz came: the two of them are the junior management and young brains behind the operation of the Hotel and will make sure your stay is nothing short of magical.
